Become+Connect

The Belmont Community Center is a space that promotes individual growth in the presence of community.

Our Story

1937 – Now

Originally founded in an abandoned church in 1937, the Belmont Community Center began with a collective desire for youth programming and neighborhood connections. In 1955, the current building on N. 12th St was built and since then has served a variety of purposes to best support the changing needs of the neighborhood and it’s residents. The BCC continues to adapt and partner with surrounding stakeholders to best identify, define, and support the social, cultural, recreational, and educational needs of the Belmont community.
