preschool super heros

Our preschool curriculum is “play based.” That means most of the learning that occurs happens naturally through child-directed play.  As teachers, we provide materials and activities that promote academic learning (Math, Science, Reading, etc.) and then engage the children to participate with those materials in a way that interests them.

We use Nebraska Early Learning Guidelines for Ages 3 to 5 to plan our curriculum and conduct evaluations on the children’s abilities throughout the year.  This resource is directly affiliated with the Nebraska Department of Education K-12 Standards. You will receive a brief assessment of your child mid-year and a final evaluation , in the form of a portfolio of your child’s work , at the end of the year.

Our goal is to assist children in developing growth and learning through the following learning domains:

  • Social and Emotional Development
  • Approaches to Learning
  • Health and Physical Development
  • Language and Literacy Development
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Creative Arts
