preschool super heros

The Belmont Community Center Preschool is a developmentally/appropriately program that reflects current practices. It is a play-based program designed to enhance the social, emotional, intellectual & physical development of 3-5 year olds. Educated teachers focus on providing a stimulating environment that caters to the individual needs and interests of each child in order to promote balance growth.

We use Nebraska Early Learning Guidelines for Ages 3 to 5 to plan our curriculum and conduct evaluations on the children’s abilities throughout the year. ¬†This resource is directly affiliated with the Nebraska Department of Education K-12 Standards. You will receive a brief assessment of your child mid-year and a final evaluation , in the form of a portfolio of your child’s work , at the end of the year.

The BCC goals for each child:

To develop a positive self-concept

To begin developing problem solving skills

To allow children the opportunity to take risks and to experience occasional failure knowing he or she is okay as a person
